The administration portal is referred to as Virtualmin. Virtualmin is a server configuration tool with a web-based GUI that is pre-installed on SmartMachines provisioned from the SmartMachine Plus image. It runs as its own process and includes its own web server. If you provisions a SmartMachine through the SmartMachine Plus image, you can use Virtualmin to setup your domains.

About Virtualmin and Webmin
Virtualmin is actually a module that is installed through the Webmin framework. Virtualmin is for modifying the configuration of the servers you install on a SmartMachine. Webmin is for modifying the configuration of the administration portal. When you need to administer to your web servers, you use Virtualmin. When you need to administer to the administration portal (upgrade Virtualmin, change Virtualmin passwords, and so on) you use Webmin.
