Two-factor authentication is an optional feature you can use to keep your Joyent Cloud account safe from misuse.
As its name implies, two-factor authentication relies on two factors:
- Something you know: your password.
- Something you have: a unique code generated by an app on your smartphone.
To use two-factor authentication:
- You must already first set up a Joyent Cloud account.
- You must have an Android or iOS smartphone.
