Before You Start
System Requirements
An Internet-connected computer, and one of the following supported browsers:
- Firefox version 1.5 (and above)
- Internet Explorer 7 (we strongly advise against using Connector with earlier versions of IE)
- Safari version 2.0.4 (and above)
Logging in For the First Time

This guide assumes that you have already:
- Signed up for a complimentary Connector account
- Received your account information (your Web address, username, and password)
When you signed up for WordPerfect Online Services from within Lightning you created a profile that included various settings (like picking a domain). You should have set a default email address at this time as well. Please retrieve the email that was sent to you to retrieve your account credentials if you can not remember them. Alternatively, if you have not set up an account yet, please go to your Lightning settings and create an Online Services Account.
Now you are ready to log in to Connector for the first time!
Log In to your Connector

Enter your username (the part before the '@' symbol in username@yourdomain.joyent.net) and your password
After you’ve logged in to your Connector account, you can immediately start working and using any of the applications in the suite. But first, you’ll want to take a few moments to set up your preferences.
