AppFuse

AppFuse is a meta-framework for the Java platform: the meta-framework provides easy integration between a number of different ORM/Persistence providers (Hibernate, OJB iBATIS), Web Frameworks (Spring MVC, Struts, JSF) and the Spring Framework as middleware.

The project provides an application that provides code generation, so that Java developers can realize some of the speed that Rails and other RAD-framework developers have become accustomed to.
