This is the control panel for email access and for any users you have created and granted access to your account. Usermin provides your users with basic access, such as the ability to change their passwords or update their mail forwarding settings.

SSH or secure shell access is a secure way of opening a terminal session on the server. Please note that SSH access is only available to the main account holder and not to any users you may have created on your account.

SFTP, or Secure FTP, uses SSH to encrypt and then securely transmit data over a potentially insecure connection. Functionally, SFTP is similar to FTP but offers protection for sensitive data. At Joyent you will only be able to access your account with SFTP rather than FTP for security reasons.

MySQL databases are created through Virtualmin. However, you can use phpMyAdmin for more advanced management of your databases.
