====== Adding a Technical Contact ======

Our system allows you to nominate a person to act as a technical contact for your account. The technical contact is the person responsible for maintaining the configuration and deployment aspects of an account. This individual would be authorized to submit a support request on your behalf, for example, to make updates to the DNS records for your account. 

If you wish to add a technical contact to your account, you can do so via a [[https://help.joyent.com/index.php?pg=request|support ticket]].

Be sure to include:

  * The first and last name of the technical contact
  * The email address they will use to submit support requests

Please note that there is only space for one technical contact per account.
